In the age of technology, we are reminded of our need to reconnect…. to people, to life, to our roots. We are authentically drawn to experience that moves and inspires us to help one another … to do more and be better. This need has inspired us to create The Rooted Door: SYNTHESIS.

The Rooted Door: SYNTHESIS will create a show that dazzles audiences through engaging performances that nurtures the growth of a collective of artists from all different backgrounds, cultures, genres and formats and challenge them to create and harmonize their talents in a cutting edge one-of-a-kind experience.
Guests are invited to experience an epic night of storytelling featuring a live orchestra and special performances by some of the most talented musicians and performance artists from the Tampa Bay area. Artists will be uniquely paired together to evoke unrivaled emotions that move us to believe in all possibilities.
Our intention is to shift guests’ consciousness by stimulating their senses and allowing them to explore an unexpected world.

HARDEMAN'S SECRET GARDEN

Jeff Hardeman, owner of Hardeman Landscape Nursery, is the conceptual proprietor of the Secret Garden. Hardeman has been influenced by his love of travel in many of his designs, and the Secret Garden is no exception. Each of the areas in the Garden has an exotic, but natural feel. The Secret Garden features an educational garden, earning the distinction as an Agri-Tourism location in Florida.The Secret Garden is the culmination of Hardeman’s life and work. It is meant to teach, be enjoyed by those who visit, and act as a monument to his vision of what this world can offer to one’s senses.

In the true spirit of community, The Rooted Door is collaborating with the Lightning Community Heroes Program to provide a opportunity to spotlight the incredible efforts of past awardees to strengthen our community.
SUSTAINABLE FARM
Rosebud Continuum will collaborate with The Rooted Door to create an event environment that inspires connection to the nature that sustain us (fresh ingredients for cocktails, living walls, pop-up platn shop and more).
MUSIC CURATION
They curate musicians and local talent to come together to support the SYNTHESIS performance. Artistry Gardens is creating an outdoor creative venue powered by a garden to table and ecologically sustainable power supplied commercial real estate design.
PERFORMANCE PARTNER
Tampa City Ballet is a professional contemporary dance company with an innovative repertoire that focuses on and is invested in connecting communities. They will contribute to the overall concept and add further dimension to the art of storytelling through artistic performances.
MIXOLOGY/CRAFT COCKTAILS
The Rooted Door is honored to collaborate with one of the most respected masterminds in the culinary movement in Tampa.
Proper House Group are pioneers in the hospitality game, constantly pushing innovation and a forward thinking approach to the culinary arts: Rooster & the Till, Ash, Gallito, Nebraska Mini Mart, Lunch Lady, Dang Dude.
Chef Ferrell Alvarez will lead development of cocktail menu inspired by local andmative ingredients that bring to life the unique flavors rooted in this city.
FURNITURE & VIP LOUNGE
The non-profit Gasparilla Music Foundation is dedicated to supporting music and education in the Tampa Bay area. As part of this mission, GMF has launched several initiatives including its Recycled Tunes program. The mission of Recycled Tunes is to enrich the lives of underserved and impoverished children in Tampa Bay by ensuring access to musical instruments. In 2015, GMF and Recycled Tunes announced a partnership with Music Will, a national organization dedicated to providing underserved schoolchildren across the U.S. access to fun, engaging, Modern Band music classes and brand new instruments at no cost to the students, teachers, or school districts. They also give students performance opportunities at their festival stages in front of large crowds. Proceeds from The Rooted Door event will be donated to the charities to further support for the growth and educations of young musicians.
